Rasteau is a village of vine growers of High Vaucluse perched with 200 meters on a hillock between plains and forests. Its houses are spread out with the foot of a beautiful Romance church of XIIe century and the ruins of a castle of the XII° overhangs the village.

The immense shaded place, which is the c?ur village, is impossible to circumvent. It is here that everyone crosses, that all is known and all is said. The trade surround it as well as the school of the village, the town hall and the post office.


Since this place, by a caladée street, you will reach the strengthened enclosure dating from the Middle Ages.
