Residence Megaron is based in an old house recently restructured, in the earth of Ortigia, the historical center of Siracusa (UNESCO Heritage), near the sea. Residence Megaron is composed by three independent apartments, on three different levels, with the possibility to be in communication through the stairs.
Alfeo, the apartment situated at the groundfloor, is a loft with a sleeping area with double bed on the mezzanine floor, and a living area, on the level below, with two comfortable sofa bed, wardrobe, table and chairs, kitchenette with cooking tools and kitchenware, bathroom with shower.
Aretusa, situated at the first floor, is a 1 room apartment with 1 double bed, 1 sofa bed, wardrobe, table and chairs, kitchenette, bathroom with shower and window, and a pretty flowered balcony.
Artemide, situated at the second floor, is a two-rooms apartment: a bedroom with a double bed, 2 sofa bed, wardrobe and a nice flowered balcony; a bathroom with shower and window and an independent kitchen, full optional. To complete Artemide, a wonderful terrace with seaview (with table, chairs and sofa), to make everybody enjoy, from sunrise to sunset, our sun and sea.
The apartments have every comfort (air conditioning, TV, hair dryer, etc).
The overall atmosphere is a very warm and familiar atmosphere.

The stable is situated in the fascinating isle of Ortigia (UNESCO Heritage), it accommodates the greater part of the historical monuments of the city (the temple of Apollo, the source Aretusa, the square of the Dome with its cathedral, the Bellomo museum...), the colourful narrow lanes with their baroque balconies, the zone of night activity (bar, pub, restaurants...), the characteristic market, the ebraic baths, the ipogeo, and still many other curiosities.
The other zone of interest of the city (archaeological museum Paolo Orsi, Catacombe of San Giovanni, archaeological park with the Greek theatre…) is, on foot, 25 minutes far from the island.
There is a good service of transport in boat that, in a few minutes, leads to a beautiful beach.
I can offer to my guest the possibility to do guided tours (Siracusa, Noto, Vendicari, Pantalica) and food-and-wine-journeys.

In order to confirm the reservation we request an earnest amount of 30% of the full price.
