Luxury 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment situated in the beautifully landscaped gardens of Duquesa Village. From the entrance to the left is the second bathroom and bedroom, which overlooks one of the swimming pools. The master bedroom is to the right, with en suite jacuzzi bath, shower and balcony with golf and sea views. Both bedrooms have zip and link beds, ideal for couples, families and golfers. The kitchen is fully equipped and the large lounge dining area also opens onto the balcony with golf and sea views. There is under ground parking with direct access to the lift up to the apartment.

PLEASE NOTE, before you read any further.. Manilva / Puerto de Duqeusa & Sabinillas (all within 5 miles of each other) are not your typical British Holiday Resort, e.g. Magaluf or Benidorm, full of burger bars and fish & chip shops. This area is not frequented by Package Tours. If you like package tour holdiays and do not like doing your own thing then Manilva is not the place for you!!
Other activities include riding, sailing, polo, diving, walking, water park for the children & Selwo wildlife reserve not far away. Culture and history can be found in the cities of Cadiz, Codoba, Estepona, Granada, Jerez, Seville &, Malaga, with a trip to Gibralatar only 20 mins drive down the road.
Manilva, Duquesa & Sabinillas on the southern part of the Costa Del Sol, only 50km from the coast of Africa, enjoy a pleasant micro climate, which makes them the ideal “all year round” holiday destination.
The beauty of this area is that it doesnt close up after the holiday season, it’s possible to “holiday all year round” in this area.
If it rains in Nov or Feb then there are still lots of things to do and places to go.
The areas mild climate is the root attraction that makes it possible to enjoy the beaches and a wide variety of outdoor activities year round.
While the rest of Europe battles wind, rain and snow, the Costa del Sol enjoys an average twenty-six days of sunshine each January. Rainfall is scarce and temperatures mild.
With less than fifty days of rain per year, draughts often threaten in the summer months. The typical rainy season lasts just four months, stretching from November to February. But even when umbrellas and raincoats are the order of the day, the thermometer rarely dips below a mild 13º C from December to March.

EATING OUT LOCALLY (a full information pack is available in the apartment)
Only 1-2 kms down the road is the Puerto de la Duquesa where there is every restaurant imaginable: typical Spanish, Italian (including Speciality Pizza) Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Sea Food, Good Old British Pub Food, Steak Houses – basically there is anything you need in the port and more… Sabinillas is a small town next door to the port, it is very typically Spanish with very little tourist influence, however there are some fantastic restaurants on the sea front and tapas bars in the narrow streets.

We had a wonderful time at your apartment, we could not have asked for more, the apartment was very clean, modern and very well stocked, you had thought of everything that we might need- thank you.
We all really enjoyed sitting outside in the warm late night air playing the games you left, the kids especially enjoyed the chance to beat Mum and Dad, I think they may have taken advantage of us, after we had enjoyed a little drink or two!!
It was nice overlooking the port and the golf course, and although distance wise the apartment is not far from the port, I would say that a car is a must because the hill is very steep.
I would however highly recommend your apartment to anybody who would like a superb holiday in lovely surroundings close enough to the port to be part of the holiday atmosphere, but far enough out to relax and enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean sunshine.

Just to say, we forgot to write in your comments book, but would like to tell you both what a lovely time we had!! We've been here a week, but not long enough. With the exception of one of our party we have all been to this part of the coast before so know the area reasonably well, but still there so many things to do. We had fabulous weather for March – 25 degrees every day, and sitting on your terrace for breakfast was unreal when our friends back home were freezing !! Fantastic apartment – everything anyone could ever need, including some nice DVDs..
We visited Gibraltar (tour of the Rock was very interesting), Rhonda another day - well worth a visit - it has the oldest Bull Ring in Spain. Caseres in the hills excellent, but wear flat shoes or trainers!! And as far a field as Seville - an amazing place, and worth a visit - the open top bus tour and trip down the river are a must!! It was a long day, well worth it, but get up and leave very early, or stay overnight.
Thanks for letting us use this superb apartment and for all your recommendations & tips for a stress free holiday. All the restaurants (McHughes & La Traviatta were our favourites) you recommended were brilliant. Some lovely cocktail bars – Bar Duquesa (nice for a bottle of champers) and Hemmingways's where the staff are so friendly was brilliant. Everywhere we went the food was excellent and the most helpful staff. Bar Med in Sabinillas do fantastic wraps which are great for an afternoon snack overlooking the beach. We hope to come back soon.
