Situated on the fantastic 6km sandy beach near Georgopoulis and less than 3km from the fabulous Lake Kournas, Villa Chloe has the perfect location.
Crete is one of the most ancient Greek peripheries and is full of incredible historical sights and sounds.
Rethymnon with it's fantastic Venetian architecture,massive choice of shops and numerous bars and tavernas is only 20 minutes away. Visit the harbour in the old Venetian city-port of Chania, a quiet taverna in Gerani enjoy a quiet drink, or drive into the mountains and enjoy a snack Greek mezes with the locals.
The island is an enchanting mix of white sandy beaches overlooking the crystal blue med, and dramatic mountains.
The mountains loom up high to the south and the cooling breeze is a welcome addition to the high summer temperatures. Crete is a sun lovers dream.

Lake Kournas is the only freshwater lake on Crete, and provides you with an alternative to the beaches and salt water of the sea. The waters shine the most spectacular turquoise you could ever see. Pedaloes allow you to swim or watch in awe the fresh water turtles. Lining the lake are numerous tavernas that serve splendid food and refreshments.
Cavros has many shops, restaurants, a children's playground, butcher, car rental facilities, a baker, and is within easy walking distance of the house.
Rethymnon has it all. Clubs, bars, restaurants, marina, port and lots of shops. Jewellery is popular in Crete and there are many reasonable jewellers to pick up that special something.
Visit Spili for the springs, consider the Samaria Gorge or if a little more idle drive south to Plakias. You pass through a fantastic gorge on this route and if interested in history Preveli monastery is a must. If you are feeling energetic visit palm beach near Preveli or drive another day to Heraklion and spend a day at the water park.
Crete is special all year round. Easter in Crete is a special experience. The festivities including a myriad of candles, parades, church services and fireworks will leave you speechless. Turning the lamb on the spit is traditional and you are likely to be asked to join in.

Clean towels and bed linen are supplied and you will find the villa clean and ready to be used upon your arrival. Between the BBQ and fully-fitted kitchen you will have everything you need for your holiday. |

Sit and relax on the upstairs terrace and enjoy the sunshine and the views of the pool, or gaze outsize of the bedroom balconies at the mountains and the shores of Kournas Lake.
A BBQ is in place in the garden which adjoins an extensive pool area, allowing you to dip in comfort. Poolside loungers are provided and stylish patio furniture is in place both downstairs and on the upstairs terrace, allowing you to enjoy a meal in the sunshine wherever you are.
The Villa is just a couple of hundred yards from the beaches of Kournas Lake, and just a few minute drive from the beaches of the Mediterranean. Whichever you choose you won't be disappointed. |
