Lakeside Village Garden apartment is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment suitable for up to 4 adults + 1 child (a child can be accommodated in a foldaway bed or a baby cot). The master bedroom has air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi, a window overlooking the lush gardens. The lounge and dining rooms have sliding patio doors leading out to a terrace area ideal for 'alfresco' dining, surrounded by lawns, mature, beautiful plants and palm trees opening out to the stunning views across to the lake and the communal pool.

The ‘Q Shopping Centre’ is a 3 minute drive back to the main entrance of Quinta Do Lago. There there are many exclusive designers shops and some lovely restaurants/cafes, also banks, multibanco machine, pharmacy, newsagent and supermarket. There is also a Italian restaurant called Pizza Pasta Fantasia - that delivers pizza and pasta (and a bottle of wine) to the apartment for those nights that you just can't be bothered to cook.

The local area has a huge variety of activities to interest the whole family. Options include horse riding, fishing, yachting/sailing, champagne cruises, shark and dolphin watching, 4x4 safari tours and cultural visits.

In Almancil there is a karting track if you need to burn off that adrenalin. There is also an Aqua Park (10 mins drive on the other side of Quarteria) and a Swim With Dolphins experience and Theme Park (30 mins drive on the motorway).

Faro town is a 15 minute drive. There is a large shopping centre (the Forum) that offers good facilities for supermarket and retail shopping. Faro Old Town has an interesting history and several historic landmarks worth investigating. There is a lovely harbour with restaurants dotted about. In Almancil (5 min drive) is a beautiful church with wonderful mosiacs that is open to the public. Quarteria and Loule both boast excellent markets that sells both fresh produce and local made products.

For low and mid season rentals securing deposit must be paid on time of booking this is 50% of the total booking cost. For high and peak season rentals the deposit required is 25%. All deposits are non refundable. All rentals - the balance is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of EUR300 is payable before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days after departure if the property has been left in an appropriate condition.

The quoted rates includes maid service with regular change of sheets & towels and complimentary welcome basket including wine and food on arrival. The rental includes preparation of the property also cleaning on departure and heating and/or air conditioning. All bed linen, bath and beach towels (seasonal) are provided.

Cancellation refunds:
Up to 8 weeks - loss of deposit
4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded
2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded
Less than 2 weeks - no refund

Changeover days are flexible all year round. It is necessary to vacant the property by 10.00am on the day of departure in the high season. Access to the property is usually after 3.30pm.
