Close by are fantastic beaches that are child friendly. The neighbouring village of Arrieta boasts one of the best family and surfing beaches on the island which has a tapas beach bar and restaurant, toilets and shower facilities. This is a stunning location to enjoy the unusual black sands and the scenic mountain landscape of rural Lanzarote. The historic village of Teguise, where you can take a stroll through the meandering lanes and watch local artists at work or visit the Sunday Market, all this is only a 15 minute drive. The island's capital is 30 minutes drive, where the airport is located.

Near the house in Punta Mujeres village you will find steps with direct access into some unusual tidal sea pools. “La Garita”, a fantastic white sandy beach is just 2 km away . In the village there are various supermarkets and restaurants serving fresh fish and typical Canarianl food. Very close to Punta Mujeres are some of the islands main attractions, Los Jameos del Agua , La Cueva de los Verdes and El Jardín de Cactus and a few kilometres north, in Orzola you can catch the ferry to the neighbouring island of La Graciosa.
