Vistas del Mar new holiday properties in a fantastic location within an exclusive gated residential area which is close to a large selection of shops restaurants and bars. We have two properties here: Casa Catalina and Casa Lisa, both self-contained with identical facilities. Cleverly designed and finished to an extremely high standard - the emphasis is on out-door living with a spacious al-fresco dining terrace, private heated swimming pool and sun loungers. Each property has its own private pool. There are no shared facilities. The new Tias Golf Course is a short distance away (approx 1 mile).

There is something more to the Canary Island of Lanzarote than the sandy beaches and sunshine that it enjoys in abundance. Here the volcanic upheavals and the ingenious methods by which the people have survived them have left a landscape, which is not just extraordinary but positively startling. The volcanic rock of the Timanfaya National Park comes in all colours shapes textures and sizes. Fields of black volcanic soil surround the villages of small white houses with beautiful onion-domed chimney stacks. There is a beach to suit every taste: from the busy resorts of Puerto Del Carmen and Costa Tequise, the wild surfing beach at Famara in the west or the golden sandy coves of the southern peninsular of Papagayo. Pleasure boats from Puerto Del Carmen harbour explore the coast to Pueto Calero Marina and ferries connect with neighbouring Fuerteventura from Playa Blanca. Inland there is the spectacular Mountains of Fire trail through the lunar volcanic landscape which culminates in a visit to the restaurant where steaks are grilled over the natural heat. Many of the leading attractions have been designed by the artist, Manrique - including the beautiful Jameos Del Aqua lagoon and caverns, the Jardin de Cactus at Guatiza, or the Monumento El Campesino (museum of rural life) with its outstanding restaurant which specialises in traditional Canarian food and wine.

Puerto del Carmen is a harbour settlement just south of the island capital Arrecife. It has expanded northward along a series of beaches. There are some hotels but most tourist accommodation is in small-scale groups of low-rise apartments and villas. Shops, restaurants and bars by the hundreds run the length of the sea front. The Old Town or harbour end of Town has the best restaurants and excellent shopping in the Biosfera shopping centre. A busy and cheerful town, but considerably more relaxed than resorts on other Canary Islands.
There is an excellent walk or cycle track from Puerto del Carmen all the way to Arrecife through Playa Honda and there is now a new path to Puerto Calero Marina (wonderful restaurants!) Cycles can be hired from a number of outlets. There are Supermarkets within a short walk of Vistas del Mar.

Drying area with washing machine. The open plan living room has breakfast bar, dining table, sofas, satellite T.V, DVD (selection of dvd films) and CD/tape player. Patio doors lead to the out-door dining terrace.The property is equipped to a high standard and carefully maintained by owners and management team.

The private heated pool, is approx 6.6m x 3.3m with walk-in steps. Sun beds & parasol provided. reached from the top (dining) terrace by steps and protected by a child safety gate . The dining terrace is partially shaded by a pergola and is reached by patio doors from the living room and from the master bedroom. Each property has it own private pool and terraces. There are NO shared facilities.
Car hire may be a good idea if anyone in your group has limited mobility or a medical condition as there are some slopes on the roads to/from the beach.

Prices shown are for the weekly rent of the property (including linen, towels, heated swimming pool)for up to 4 people. A fifth person (child) may be accommodated using a folding bed (z bed)in the living-room or a baby in a cot at a supplement of £20 p.w.
A DISCOUNT is applied on all weeks when there are just TWO PEOPLE staying. Our two properties at Vistas del Mar normally let individualy. However larger families or groups of friends often book both villas to enjoy a holiday together.

The photos do not do this house justice!! A beautiful villa in a great location. The Villa is equiped with everything you could need and more, it was spotlessly clean and the pool was cleaned twice in the week we were there. The property is very well managed and both the information pack provided and the welcome pack were a lovely touch. The owners could not do more and their property managers were extremely helpful. I would definitely go back and strongly recommend the villa to family and friends alike. The restaurants in the old Town are a 10 minute walk and the selection and quality is amazing. For shoppers the Biosphere is also a 10 minmute walk with a huge range of shops.The lady who came in midweek to change our towels also booked an airport taxi which turned up exactly as requested!! Great service all round.
