The Paphos region

PEYIA

The picturesque village of Peyia tumbles down a hillside overlooking the sea. The village has a church and some interesting little houses and is of Byzantine origin. Most of the accommodation in Peyia are villas situated between the village and Coral Bay.

Marina Hilltop Apartments are set high on the hillside with spectacular views of the sea, only 1km from the picturesque village of Peyia. Just 5 minutes drive from Coral Bay resort with one of the best beaches in Cyprus, exciting nightlife and various bars and restaurants, with something to suit couples, families and large groups. Paphos centre is 15 minutes drive away and has plenty to offer from fine mosaics and buildings of Greek and Roman periods, the harbour with its bars and restaurants.

Peyia area

PAPHOS

Situated in the South-west of Cyprus, Paphos has an interesting harbor with lots of fishing and pleasure boats and the Saturday market in the old town should not be missed. Just inland are three championship golf courses, where slightly cooler temperatures mean that you can tee off comfortably throughout the year. Other sights include the Tomb of the Kings and the Paphos mosaics. A few kilometers to the north, Coral Bay has an excellent beach, while Peyia is a firm favorite with many visitors. A little further north to the Akamas peninsula, famous for its turtles, and the very pleasant fishing village of Latchi.

Skiing
It has been said that 'only in Cyprus during the winter months you can sunbathe in the morning and then ski in the afternoon. Only at Troodos mountains can you experience this between Jan/March. There are 10 ski runs, several cross country trails suitable for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers. There are also cafes, restaurants, equipment hire shops and a ski school. The Troodos mountains are approx 1 hours drive from the apartment.
