2 Bed terraced bungalow on edge of Catalan village. Sleeps up to 6 (1 double, 1 twin and separate sofa bed). Fully equipped kitchen and large lounge/dining area (30ft) leading to sunny south facing garden with large patio and BBQ. 3km to the nearest beach at Le Barcares. English owners nearby.
With 300 days sunshine a year the area is a great holiday destination - sandy beaches, palm trees, vineyards, mountains and lots of sun. It is well known for its old castles, forts, good food, and great wine and colourful Catalan culture.

It is well known for its old castles, forts, good food, and great wine & colourful Catalan culture. Lots of places to visit, including the medieval walled city of Carcassonne, Ceret, Canal du Midi & the Pyrenees, plus duty free shopping on the Spanish Border.

The village is well served with shops, 2 supermarkets (within walking distance), hypermarket 10 minutes drive, plus twice-weekly market, cafes and restaurants. Le Barcarès is just 3km away with a golden sandy beach, a variety of water sports and a good selection of restaurants, bars, shops and markets open throughout the summer months.
There is also a magnificent port and marina which is home to the well known Lydia ship restaurant, casino & night club.
Nearby activities include horse riding, watersports, golf, go-karting, Water Park, Wildlife Park & many more in peak season.
There are many celebrations and festivals in Perpignan through the year, including the Festa Major, Perpignan's spectacular, pyrotechnic midsummer celebration, and the regular summer Thursday Street Festivals.

Our house is available to rent from early April until the end of September. For July and August, bookings are normally for whole weeks. Outside this period, we will consider bookings by the night, with a minimum stay of two nights.

For July and August, bookings are normally for whole weeks. Outside this period, we will consider bookings by the day, with a minimum stay of two days.
We ask for a non-refundable deposit of 10% to be sent with the booking and for the balance to be paid at least 8 weeks before arrival (cheques in sterling, payable to Mrs J L Deer).
We also ask for a security deposit of £100 (or 150 euro) on arrival. This will be returned on departure if everything is satisfactory.

Had a great time and to be honest we couldn't really think of anything else that we needed that was not provided. We found the property to be just as described with the facilities very good and clean (Simon T).
We would like to thank you for the most enjoyable holiday we have had at your home in St Laurent de la Salanque. The house was wonderful. The places to visit recommended by yourselves were fabulous (Tommy H)
