The Island has something to offer all ages and tastes.
The Troodos Mountains for skiing in the winter and site seeing and walking in the summer. There are many vineyards on the slopes where you can sample a variety of local wines and purchase at very reasonable prices.
Day excursions are plentiful - jeep safaris to Troodos mountains or the Akamas peninsular, day/sunset cruises, fishing trips and guided walks.
If more lively activities are preferred, jet skis, paragliding, water skiing, scuba diving. go-karting, quad bike hire, golf and horse riding are all close by, as well as a water park.
There are historic places to visit - The Mosaics, Tombs of the Kings, Baths of Aphrodite and the Kykko Monastery.

The villa is built in a small quiet close in a residential area in the village of Emba. The local supermarket stocks a full range of products, from local produce to Heinz Beans! There is a local take-away selling traditional Cypriot food and a traditional Taverna within a few minutes walk.
The surrounding villages of Lempa, Chlorakas and Kisonerga all have local restaurants.
Coral Bay is a few minutes drive away. Its high street is full of bars and restaurants. It has a character of its own and is full of life. A few minutes drive further on leads you to the sandy beach and water sports.
Paphos main town and harbour are in the opposite direction, where facilities are abundant. There are two contrasting areas, The Harbour - with its many restaurants or Bar Street - for club land and bars.

Villa Kalandia is an easy, short 20 minute drive from Paphos International Airport and is equidistant from Paphos Harbour and Coral Bay, situated in a quiet residential area.
Taxi transfers from and to the major airports in Cyprus can be booked.

Villa Kalandia is a luxury villa that accommodates 6 to 8 people.
It has 2 spacious double bedrooms, 1 twin room and sofa beds in the lounge area. Each room has fitted wardrobes and patio doors leading onto a balcony. A cot is also provided for our younger guests.
The main bedroom has en-suite facilities. There is a family bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom.
The ground floor is open plan with a fully fitted kitchen that includes a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.
The living area has a dining table, seating 8 people and a high-chair. There is a lounge suite, TV with satellite viewing, DVD and CD/Cassette/Radio.
The villa is fully air conditioned for the comfort of our guests during the summer months, converting to a heating system during the cooler season, complimented by an open log fire.

Clean bright and airy. Facilities excellent. Whilst in a quiet area, necessitating a car, it suited us down to the ground. We will recommend the Villa Kalandia to our friends, and we hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

We had the best holiday ever. The villa and pool were fully equipt and exactly as described. We were very well looked after by Dave and Eddie (thankyou). Our two teenage daughters had a great time and did not want to leave. A car is a must have. We will definately book again.

The Villa is extremely well furnished and has just about everything you can think of to make your stay comfortable (even hairdryers in each bedroom - great for the teenagers). The air conditioning in every room was a real bonus in very high temperatures, as was the excellent private pool (well looked after by Eddie and his team). In a fairly quiet location but with easy access to Paphos bars, restaurants, harbour, shopping, night life and beaches, but you MUST have a car. There is some building of new properties fairly close to the villa, but the impact is very minimal (some lorries use the same access road but NOT the road where the villa is located). Our party of five certainly had a very relaxing holiday here and would recommend this villa.
