Broad Channel is just 20 minutes from Kennedy Airport. This neighborhood consists of single family homes, public parks which include with handball and tennis courts. Small boats can be rented at a local fishing station within walking distance. Guests may visit the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge which is a 15-minute walk. A 5 to10 minute bus ride will bring guests to Rockaway Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Rockaway Beach is one of New York City’s public beaches where you can enjoy swimming, surfing and surf fishing. Lifeguards are on duty from late May through early September.

There are towels & sheets; however, they are not changed daily. There are also cooking utensils, etc. and small grocery stores as well as a laundry mat within walking distance.

The minimum stay is for 3 nights at $215 per night for up to 6 guests. This home may be rented for 7 or more nights at $1225 per wk. (USD). A 25% deposit is required to reserve this property. Additional guests cost $140 per week for adults and $75 for children. There is a $300 security required. Returned to guest following inspection of home at end of stay.

The house has a fantastic view of the water and the NYC skyline! It's convenient location allows for an easy day trip into NYC via the train, but the wonderful view makes it tough to leave the waterfront deck!!!
The owner lives nearby and was very helpful.
It's also easy to walk to the nearby shops/restaurants for supplies, lunch or dinner.

i kinda dont want to write this cause i dont want it to be booked the next time i come to new york ;-) this was a great, great, great stay. michael is the nicest guy and helped with everything and everything we needed but also gave us alot of privacy. the house is great and everything explained in the ad is correct. very clean and spacious. has a great view from the deck of manhattan/nyc. great pizza in walking distance also. anyone would be insane to pass up staying here if going to new york.

the property is well discribed by the owner who ,by the way is very friendly and provides very good service.
everything in his description is accurate.
the vieuw from the livingroom deck is awesome.
it's a new clean home in old and friendly neighborhood.
we all feld very save walking home from the train station in the middle of the night.
get the 5/7 day train pass for $25 this allows you to travel all day/night in the city by train/subway/bus.
we had no car but we shopped for fresh bread,eggs,juice ect at the little store two blocks away and in the morning we walked about a mile or 8 blocks to get fresh bagles.
do not forget to get pizza's at the corner next to the store.

all 7 of us want to thank michael for taking care of us,we had a great time.
would love to come back and stay here again.

My husband & I have rented this house twice, and we really enjoyed it. Right on the water, wonderful view, and one train ride into Manhattan. We recommend it highly!
