Home description

ta Kolina has got four bedrooms all with ensuite shower/bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen next to a lovely dining area which seats easily six adults and has got a cable tv service, DVD, Cd next to a fireplace for the cooler winter months whilst overlooking the roman type 32 x 18 ft swimming pool.

The Island Of Gozo region

Gozo though small in size has a little bit of everything, history, beaches, good food, splendid subacqua diving sites, friendly people, you name, you get it. Climatewise it is mild all year round with sea temperatures peaking 27 degrees in summer. From April to end Sep all towns and villages celebrate their respective patron saint with much pomp, revelry, good food and drink. Eating out in Gozo is very good value for money with the cuisine being mediterranean based, from pasta to fresh fish all year round.
History wise the Island starts from Neolithic time to present day, virtually an open air museum with Ggantija temples being the most visited in the whole of the Maltese Archipelago.

Nadur area

Qala is situated just 3km away from Mgarr Harbour being the easternmost village in Gozo. St. Joseph is the Patron saint of the locality and the feast is celebrated every first week end in August. Restaurants abound in Qala, one of which is within a one minute walk away, the others just seven minutes away. Grocery, pharmacy, bakery etc are also with the same limits. The village also has its own pebbly beach called Hondoq ir Rummien.
