Fishermanshouses Mazarron, private property which comprises 4 accommodations. Ideal destination for relax holidays, living right on the beach. If you want to discover the intimates and unspoilt coves, fishing, walking on the beach or biking and enjoying all kind of water activities, this is the ight place.
If you are a big family or travel with friends, we can accommodate you on our other cottages at the Fishermanshouses Mazarron Finca. Our property includes: Studio for 2 people, House 1 for 2 to 4 people, House 2 for 6-8 people and House 3 for 6 people.. The whole finca can be rented as well for family/hen parties.Accommodation for up to 20 people.

Murcia has an average annual temperature of 18ºC with hot summers and mild winters. The region of Murcia falls historically and geographically into a number of districts which agglutinate the 45 townships making up this uniprovincial autonomus community, all of which in turn depend on Murcia, the regional capital ( just 45 minutes drive away, and having an exciting and wide cultural offer). The district of Cartagena contains townships as Cartagena ( which has the Spanish Naval Headquarters, large marina and port, museums and many shops) or the turistic centre of Mazarron and Puerto de Mazarr

Mazarron area: Of course the charm of Puerto de Mazarron resides in its varied and numerous beaches, of which 10 of them are still virgin and ar amazingly beautiful, but Mazarron should also be know for its architectural, archaeological and monumental patrimony which forms a chronological mosaic in the past of the town in all splendour, forming a range of turist and cultural possibilities for the visitor: the Phoenicien, Roman and Arabic legacy is present in Mazarron in the form of sites, towns, castles or churches.
Gastronomy: products from the countryside and the sea form the basis of Mazarron gastronomy: exquisite tomatoes and both fresh and dried fish.
There is a nine hole golf course on the nearby golf development about 15 minutes drive away in land, 18 holes championship course can be founded about 45 minutes drive.
There is a very colorful and large Sunday market selling everything on Sunday mornings in Puerto de Mazarron or on Saturday mornings in Mazarron town.
Within 20 minutes drive you can choice between a wide range of bars, pubs and restaurants in the nearby town of Puerto de Mazarron ( from traditional tapas bar or comfortable pubs offering beer and sports as well as traditional Sunday Lunches at local English restaurants).
You should not miss the traditional fiestas and the end of November and the first week of December with large free paella and barbecue on the beach of Bolnuevo.

Pets are allowed at this property ( one dog per booking, please)
Bookings can be received by mail or phone and then confirmed once the deposit of 30% is received. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to arrival. A security/breakage deposit of 250€ cash is required on arrival. This wil be refunded within 7 days of departure after property has been checked.

A holiday to remember! de Stephan 17/May/2010 (regarding a stay in May 2010)
The Fisherman's houses are right next to the beach of Calnegre and very well taken care of. It was a beautiful setting for our holidays and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
During the time we spent there (offseason, May) we had the beach almost entirely to ourselves. There are easy hiking paths very close to the house which go through the surrounding hills and rocks and offer stunning views of the cliffs. Other than that, sunbathing, swimming and bbq are the best activities for the very relaxing setting.
It is definitely recommended to come by car since the houses are in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by vegetable plantations, and can hardly (if at all) be reached by public transport. The next supermarket is about 5km away and also daytrips to Mazarrón, Lorca, Aguilas or other towns might be worthwhile and would certainly require a car.

The fisherman's cottage is lovely and the owners greet you with welcome and friendliness. The sound of the sea, the ambience of the cottage and its surroundings help you relax quickly.
Highly recommended for those wanting to 're charge' their peronal batteries.
Wonderful coastal routes for walkers, drivers and those interested in the natural environment. Close to Puerto di Mazarron, a township with a marina, shops and restaurants.
