The Forni Rosaia farmholiday is situated in Lunigiana the relatively undiscovered northern Tuscany, which many would say is the most stunning part of this region, within easy access of the Cinque Terre and the city of Lucca, Pisa, Florence..

Located on the hilltop hamlet known as Olivola, once "feudo" of the Marquises Malaspina and seat of the medieval Castle, a hideaway in an area rich in history and tradition and set amidst magnificent scenery, with breathtaking views over the unspoilt Tuscan hills.
Our holiday apartment, recently restored, thanks to its strategic position, gives a wonderful sight spreading on the valley, as if the present hanging garden, gained from a wing of the ancient castle, was the wharf of a ship ready for the launch in the Lunigiana valley!
The generous hospitality and relaxed pace to life make this a perfect destination for those wishing to escape the rush of modern life..

The apartment consists:
Ground floor : living room where there is a large table can accommodate up to 8 people, 2 sofas (one of which is a double sofa bed), is equipped with TV-DVD player. A tiled bathroom with shower, WC, bidet, washbasin (5 m2). A custom designed kitchen with marble work surfaces and ancient marble sink, it is supplied with a gas hob, microwave, large fridge with freezer top, kettle, percolator, table and chairs (12 m2), a cozy sitting room features original part exposed stone wall and is furnished with a sofa, open fire place and wooden stairs lead to upper floor.
First floor : main double bedroom (20 m2), second double bedroom (16 m2), bathroom with bath (6 m2), terrace (34 m2).
Upon request can be added a single bed for one child or third person in the main bedroom.

Note: the 1-bedroom apartment can be extended to another romantic double bedroom (16 m2), with adjacent tiled bathroom with bath, WC, bidet, washbasin (6 m2) and a panoramic terrace (34 m2)

This second double bedroom, with its private bathroom, on the first floor, has its own independent entrance from the garden by the terrace.

Guests can choose what best suit their needs: 1-bedroom apartment, 2-bedroom apartment or B&B room, breakfast or self-catering to offer different possibilities of accommodation for 2 or 4 up to 6/7 people.

Breakfast supplies milk, tea, coffee, fruit juice, homemade biscuits or cake, "torta d'erbi" a typical vegetable pie of Lunigiana!.. it can also become a light lunch or dinner or packed lunch for dining out.

Numerous smaller fascinating towns and villages where weekly markets and summer festivals abound.
PONTREMOLI is located in the northern part of Lunigiana and is today a precious coffer of artistic and monumental memories.The castle of Piagnaro, situated at the top of the hill dominating the northern approach to Pontremoli, makes part of a system of walls and towers erected in defense of the city during its history. Beyond the castle, home of the museum of the statue stele,an anthropomorhic cult of stone divinity. From the III millenium before Christ, the statues represented male and female divinity, whose cult ended when the Romans conquered the region. we can find the Church of San Nicol

The agritourism is open all year around, as in Lunigiana every season has its own charm!
