Home description

The Finca is part of a scattered hamlet that is accessed via a hillside track of approximately 3kms. Accomodation is divided into two separate units, with the owners, Keith and Carol, living in the main part of Finca Anna. They will respect your privacy, but, will be available if you require any help or advice.

The Costa Del Sol/malaga region

In addition to the larger towns of Torre del Mar and Velez Malaga where there is a hypermarket and modern shopping mall, nearer are the villages of Puente don Manuel and Vinuela where basic supplies can be obtained. There are a number of restaurants in the area including two restaurants overlooking Lake Vinuela. As well as being a great place to get away from it all, the area is also perfect for outdoor activities, especially walking and cycling. The picturesque lake at Vinuela is approximately 10 minutes away and offers fishing, and swimming, and there are two golf courses along the coast. Granada and the Alhambra can be reached in around an hour and a half.

Lake Vinuela La Dehesa area

Vinuela is between Colmenar and the Axarquia mountains and has many interesting places to visit. The countryside is rich in beauty with rolling hills, mountain peaks and fertile areas where there were once thriving olive groves. The production of olives these days is a small part of the local economy because of the poor return from this type of crop.
The beautiful whitewashed village of Comares are only a short drive away. Comares is about 25 minutes from the coast perched on a hill at a height of some 750 metres above sea level with views as far as the Mediterranean.

Further details outdoors: The Annexe has a private terrace to the front with table, chairs, barbecue and a bamboo canopy providing partial shade. Sun loungers, cushions and a parasol are provided beside the pool.

The swimming pool 8m x 4m and garden is shared with the owners.
Clean linen and towels will be provided at the end of each week but we kindly request that guests provide their own beach/pool towels.

Thank you so much for the loan of your little piece of paradise. We have had a fabulous week, the weather has been lovely and the Annexe had everything we needed.

I am so sorry that we left without seeing you again and without being able to thank you for our wonderful stay at the Annexe. It was so beautiful up there in peace and tranquillity and I love the decor and cosiness of Casa Anna or rather its annexe... also loved your little dog and could easily have kidnapped him! We saw so many houses and plots that I became quite confused but I think I have found something completely different than I had in my mind's eye so will probably return very soon. You must have gone through the same thing and I think you chose brilliantly in the end. Angie x
