This commanding spacious villa is accessed via electronic gates opening onto cobblestone driveways. The characterful property is safe, private and peaceful. The accommodation is divided between the huge 4 bedroom villa and the two bedroom guest cottage that is independent from, but adjacent to the main building. The two properties share terraces, cobble paths, al-fresco dining areas, shaded barbecue party zones, and the magnificent swimming pool with huge sun-bathing terraces. This makes the property ideal for large and/or multi-generation families. There are spaces big enough for everyone to have fun together, and at the same time there are many secret areas ideal for relaxing in peace.
This is one of the original residences in the prestigious Funchal Ridge area of Lagos. It has been tastefully renovated to add modern luxuries without compromising on the character, maturity and beauty of the property.

Lagos
The historic seafaring town of Lagos lies at the heart of the Western Algarve, sheltered by the Ponta da Piedade and guarded by an ancient fort.

Praia da Luz
A fishing community since the earliest human settlement of this area, Luz has gone on to become a highly popular summer destination. There is a great variety of family friendly restaurants and bars, supermarkets and all the amenities for a complete holiday. The beautiful sandy beach is perfect for sun bathing and water sports, and Luz beach sports the European blue flag indicating clean sand and clean water. To the east of town you find some spectacular cliffs and among them the prominent black rock Rocha Negra. Luz is just 8 minutes west of the historic town of Lagos.For golfers there are 4 golf courses within 5 - 20 minutes drive.

The villa is an easy 60 minute drive from Faro airport. All decent airlines fly to Faro. Try RyanAir, Easy Jet etc. We can arrange transfers from the airport to the villa and back again at very good rates. Please mail us for details.

There are three en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor. Each has direct access to the swimming pool terraces. The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom occupies the entire first floor. There is a twin and a double bedroom int he guest cottage that share a traditionally styled bathroom. The two principle rooms in the villa are the imposing living room with raised formal dining area and the modern spacious dining kitchen equipped with no less than 4 ovens! |
