Of course, many people come to La Torre specifically to play golf on the challenging course in the guaranteed sunshine. Further practice can also be enjoyed at the driving range and putting green or take some lesson from the Pro at the La Torre Golf School.
The Spa is a decadent way to relax and enjoy being pampered, or just sit and people watch from one of the outdoor cafés as you work on your tan.
The area around San Javier and Torrevieja is known for its beautiful sandy beaches. Some have water sports, some are quiet sandy coves, but venture out exploring and you will soon find your own favourite.

Places to visit in La Torre Golf Resort, Spain
The city of Murcia is the capital city of the region and has a wealth of architectural treasures dating back over 800 years. The Cathedral de Santa Maria is a magnificent Baroque Cathedral finished in the 15th century. The entrance doors alone are worth studying and the interior is magnificently decorated with gold. There is a museum within the cathedral which is also very interesting.
The Museum Ramon Gaya displays the powerful work of this local artist, whose work was influenced by Vasquez and Rembrandt. There are many other Museums and art galleries to be explored in the city too.
The Almudi Palace and the Castle of Monteagudo with its Arabic influences are also worth a visit.
Just south east of Murcia, and an easy drive from La Torre Golf Resort, Cartagena is another historical city with beautiful architecture. The Archaeological Museum displays relics from many ancient civilizations.

Year-round mild to hot temperatures are an attraction to the area. Average temperatures in July and August may reach 33C (91F) with no rain. Up to 2 inches of rain per month may fall in showers during the rest of the year. Winter temperatures rarely drop below 10C (50F).

A non refundable deposit of £150 secures your booking. A refundable deposit of £250 is required for protection against loss of keys, damage or breakages and excessive cleaning. There is a cleaning charge of 70 euros paid locally at the end of your stay. Booking and payment can be made by either bank transfer , cheque or Pay pal. The apartment is managed by my resident key holder who can offer a meet and greet service for 20 euros, and is available throughout your stay for any help you may need.

Great little village with its own pier and entertainment complet set around the water with a fantastic Italian restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, a Spanish Tapas bar and a great Pub combined with excellent golfing and an Interncontinental hotel
There are lots of apartments on the complex which has state of the art security and number place scanners at the security check points into and out of the resort
The buidings are all very tastefully built and stylish and there are as many spaniards as other nationalities
A great 5 star resort with 5 star facilaites and very good value for money service

Stayed at la Torre resort, this is a return trip. the security at the resort is excellent, its not overly busy and is kept very clean, pools are excellent, restaurants are very good, and local ones offsite are cheap, I loved walking around the resprt, so peaceful and ideal for family trip, the golf course is mature and club house excellent. Tennis courts were used in Davis cup...very good quality. the Hotel is a real 5 star.....champers at the bar..!!!!! goos supermarket too.....rent close to the hotel is my advice, Mr Grant, Dublin, April 2011

As golfers, my wife and I wanted somewhere to go that didn't take forever to get to but could offer 5 star facilities, so we gave Polaris World - La Torre a try. Had a very enjoyable time and would definately go back. Stayed in a ground floor apartment by the 18th fairway and had 5 pools within 100 yards to choose from for our post round dip. Very relaxing.......

The apartment and resort fulfilled all our expectations.The quality and facilities were brilliant.The apartment was ideally situated with great views,can't beat a penthouse.It has been furnished to a very high standard, everything brand new,the beds were excellent !! We played golf for 3 days, very challenging but enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble for all the staff.Will definitely go back again.Highly recommended.

Really nice and clean resort. Restaurants good but could be doing with more staff but otherwise excellent stay was had. Golf was very good and hotel was beautiful. Gardens all very well kept. Would advise car hire to explore region fully and also to make use of excellent eating places just off site. Overall great value.

The apartment was like a show home with everything there. It was a home from home. The resort was quiet in the evening but the Pizza restaurant was good. We went out other evenings to Los Alcazares to eat with plenty of options. The supermarket was well stocked allowing us to cook in the apartment. The golf was great with the course in great condition. Playing in shirts and shorts in February. The staff were always friendly and helpful. I would certainly go back as I did on this occassion having been before in September 2010.

If you are looking for a chilled out holiday with teens then we would highly recommend it.
The resort is very nice and clean and a village in itself - its a large resort so if you are staying in a villa on the ouert edges then you will need a car. it had a supermarket and shop that sell all you need and the centre is absolutely lovely.
There are communal pools near to all villas and a road train that can be used at night which the kids loved. Teens can safely meet with friends - and they will make alot of those - whilst the adults can sit and relax, allowing the kids a little freedom in a safe environment. Both children 12 and 14 last year thought it was the best holiday they had ever had and we couldnt disagree really. One 'outdoor bar has a lovely view over the lake and is candlelit. There is a small 'nightclub' which perfectly suits the needs of the younger folk and isnt too loud and is fun to venture too if you are in the mood.
Lots of places to visit - a nice waterpark and beaches for snorkelling and if you want to travel up coast you will find some nice fishing villages. Leech family, Manchester
