Newly reformed detached bungalow finished May 2007 (complying with the Spanish Tourist Board norms) with accommodation for 6 people comprises of a large, light and airy lounge/kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom with a large shower, patio and roof terrace can fulfil your imagination.
Enjoy the peace and tranquility whatever your age.
Being just an easy 5 minute walk from the centre of the village of Fuente del Conde it is just 20 metres from the end of the tarmac and close to a natural spring (fuente).
The house is suitable for all ages who can negotiate the 4 steps from the lane.
Being newly reformed, the insulation, which is missing in my own house in the village, is very efficient. This ensures that room fans can cope with summer heat and the electric radiators in each room can handle the cold in winter.

General Area. The area offers the opportunity to experience different activities including walking, golf, horse riding, cycling, bird watching, wolf watching, fishing and paragliding for the so inclined.
It also offers the opportunity to visit the historical sites of Granada, Sevilla, Malaga and Cordoba.
Enjoy dining out, either full meals or tapas, in the local restaurants mainly Spanish with the odd English one.

| Iznajar Fuente del Conde area |
Fuente del Conde is like England was 50 years ago in the attitude and respect of people and property. The local people are very welcoming and want to communicate whatever your level of Spanish. Recent clients have had a lesson in the preparation of olives and the opportunity to sample freshly picked vegetables.
There is a well stocked supermarket and bar/ restaurant in the village.There is a small children’s playground opposite the village bar and a football pitch where any visiting children can join the village children.
Iznajar(12kms) and Villanueva de Tapia (8kms) both have banks, local shops and weekly markets.
Larger supermarkets can be found 20 mins away in the larger towns of Rute and Loja.
Activities in the area include walking, horseriding, golf, bird watching, wolf watching, paragliding, tennis, clay pigeon shooting and photography. Spanish lessons can also be arranged locally.
As most people realise, Spain is a country of fiestas. This area is no exception. There seems to be a fiesta in one of the surrounding villages and towns most weeks.
The fiesta in Fuente del Conde is at the beginning of May and lasts for 3 days and nights. Visitors are very welcome to join in all the activities and festivities.

The lounge area possesses comfortable settees, a sofa bed, TV and DVD player which also functions as CD player.
The main bedroom has a double bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables.
The second bedroom has twin beds with an ample wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables.
The kitchen area includes the indoor dining area with seating for up to 6 people. It includes a washing machine, large fridge/freezer, coffee machine, toaster and ample equipment for 6 people.
A cotand high chair can be provided.
Although the property does not have internet connection, broad band access is freely available at owner's house next door to the village shop.
The owner also has an extensive library of both children's and adult books which can be borrowed at no extra cost along with any DVD that the owner owns.
As the owner lives nearby, any problem that MAY arise can be quickly solved.
Although the village doen't have any history of crime, valuables may be left in the owner's house and accessed at any time.

Outside, there is a patio, with barbeque and outside furniture. Take advantage of this area to enjoy alfresco meals, whilst looking at the panoramic views, listening to the birds and chatting to the local neighbours.

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival -the deposit will not be refundable. Any made less than 30 days prior to arrival will not be refundable.
Having said this, I know that unforeseen circumstances can occur and this condition can be waived under special circumstances.
