This delightful first floor apartment provides all that one would want for a relaxing holiday in El Cotillo.

The large west facing balcony enjoys views of the Atlantic Ocean providing a perfect place to enjoy a morning cuppa whilst contemplating what to do for the rest of the day. Also, it is a great way to watch village life go by in its relaxed and sedate way as you feel the stress of 21st century living just melt away...

The apartment has one bedroom with twin beds but can easily accommodate up to two additional guests using the sofa bed in the lounge. If required, the twin beds can be attached to make a 'king size' bed.

To help make your stay more comfortable during the hotter days and nights, the lounge, kitchen and bedroom all have ceiling fans and the bedroom window includes a mosquito screen so that the window can be kept open to provide ventilation without fear of being bitten.

The large shared roof terrace is accessible via an internal staircase and has excellent views of the western horizon which are perfect for watching El Cotillo's famous sunsets. The roof terrace is shared by the occupants of just one other small apartment.

A cot and high chair are available free of charge if required.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura is still undeveloped as far as tourism is concerned. There are large centres of tourism such as Jandia, Caleta de Fuste and Corralejo but the rest of the island is still mostly unspoilt.

The main characteristics of the island are it’s miles and miles of virtually white sand beaches, rugged volcanic terrain and the wind which helps to keep the ambient temperature from becoming unbearable.

Fuerteventura's position places it on a similar latitude to Florida and Mexico which, consequently, provides similar weather conditions - but without the hurricanes

El Cotillo area

El Cotillo has numerous restaurants and bars offering a variety of cuisines, ambiences and locations. Indeed, we have calculated that during a fortnight’s stay in El Cotillo one could dine in a different establishment every night and still not have visited them all!

Some recent additions to the village are two banks with Cash Machines, a doctor and a chemist for "over the counter" medications and various first aid and baby goods.

If this is not enough for you, there is a regular bus service to Corralejo and Puerto del Rosario. If you intend to hire a car during your stay, Corralejo is only 20 minutes drive away and Rosario is around 40 minutes.

For those of you with an adventurous nature, the Atlantic Ocean provides waves for surfing and the constant breeze provides interesting conditions for wind surfers & kite boarders. Scuba diving is also pursued at various places all around the island.
