One x 2 bedroomed (sleeps 4-6). 5 min walk to beach & 2/3 local beach bars. Spa Hotel & Golf Course 2km away & several other Golf Courses nearby.
Not "Package Tour Land", but a great location for sight seeing in Andalucia, Malaga, Rhonda, Seville, Granada, Cadiz, Jerez, Tarifa and other surrounding areas. Internet Access available.
We have lots of European and Scandinavian visitors who really love our little complex of just 21 apartments. Playa Pariso beach just over the road is very popular with everyone who comes here because it is so un-spoilt!!
The complex is small & exclusive, but still very friendly. It is just a very short walk to get off the complex, and then less than a 5 minute walk until you are sitting on the beach. We have the only beach bar on the coast that stays open all year. There are 2/3 other local beach bars that you can walk up the beach to.
La Paloma de Manilva is located in Spain on the Costa del Sol, on the coast between Estepona and Gibraltar. 3 miles from Puerto Duquesa & the stunning beach side town of Sabinillas, 5 mins from the exclusive Sotogrande marina & Spanish Village of Torreguardario, and within easy reach of Estepona
Other activities include water park for the children, wild life park, riding, yatching, sailing, polo, diving, walking, culture and history

PLEASE NOTE, before you read any further.. Manilva / Puerto de Duqeusa & Sabinillas (all within 5 miles of each other) are not your typical British Holiday Resort, e.g. Magaluf or Benidorm, full of burger bars and fish & chip shops. This area is very upmarket and not frequented by Package Tours. If you like package tour holdiays and do not like doing your own thing then Manilva is not the place for you!!
Other activities include riding, sailing, polo, diving, walking, water park for the children & Selwo wildlife reserve not far away. Culture and history can be found in the cities of Cadiz, Codoba, Estepona, Granada, Jerez, Seville &, Malaga, with a trip to Gibralatar only 20 mins drive down the road.

While the rest of Europe battles wind, rain and snow, the Costa del Sol enjoys an average twenty-six days of sunshine each January. Rainfall is scarce and temperatures mild.
With less than fifty days of rain per year, draughts often threaten in the summer months. The typical rainy season lasts just four months, stretching from November to February. But even when umbrellas and raincoats are the order of the day, the thermometer rarely dips below a mild 13º C from December to March.

EATING OUT LOCALLY (a full information pack is available in the apartment)
If you do not want to go far then there are 2 local beach bars which serve excellent food (in particular fish and meat) which are very reasonably priced. There is also the Playa Parisa Restaurant (Moroccan), just across the road, which serves excellent food of all varieties, and has live entertainment some evenings.
Only 3-4 kms up the road is the Puerto de la Duquesa where there is every restaurant imaginable: typical Spanish, Italian (including Speciality Pizza) Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Sea Food, Good Old British Pub Food, Steak Houses – basically there is anything you need in the port and more… Sabinillas is a small town next door to the port, it is very typically Spanish with very little tourist influence, however there are some fantastic restaurants on the sea front and tapas bars in the narrow streets.

Dear Kay, Just to say a very big thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment for our long weekend break. We found everything very comfortable; it was just like being at home. We absolutely loved your gorgeous terrace with the sea views. You have furnished and equipped it so well; no wonder you get loads of bookings. We also fell in love with Jane & Derrick’s apartment upstairs with the fantastic sea views, and the lovely terrace off the kitchen – “great for catching the late afternoon sun”!! It took us just over 5 hours with one short stop, 484 km. Your directions were good too. We went straight to your apartment without any problems. Again, very many thanks, much appreciated.
