This stunning two bedroom chalet is situated just 500 meters away from the centre of the popular ski / summer mountain resort of Chatel with the ski bus stopping directly outside our door! The Chalet is well equipped, comprising of a fabulous open plan living room with fireplace, dining room & a fully equipped kitchen. The ground floor also has a toilet and cloak closet. Upstairs there is a bathroom with bath and shower, a separate toilet and two double bedrooms. Each bedroom has a king-size bed which can be split into two singles, a built-in wardrobe and it's own balcony with stunning views looking straight up the valley towards Linga. The chalet has a well kept garden with a private patio and veranda; we provide teak garden furniture and a dining set for use in the summer months. For the winter we provide you with wood for the fireplace and there is a dedicated ski / bike room located at the entrance to the building. The chalet has private, off street parking.

The village is linked in to the fabulous skiing area of the Portes de Soleil, providing a vast choice of pistes and snow parks to skiers and boarders of all level and ability. The town itself is only a short drive from Geneva and a stones throw from Annecy, Lyon, Montreux and Lausanne.

Having established that we wanted to holiday in the area around Chatel in France we begun to search for the best option taking into account our needs and budget. The property is in the most ideal location with views that still looked as fantastic on day 6 of our holiday. The descriptions given are very true and standard of chalet is even better than described with all needs thought through. Location to town is a very brief pleasant walk as described and easy to access all that Chatel has to offer. Child freindly area as well as our six year old son rated this as better than being at home and found lots to amuse him all week. We have re booked this same chalet for two weeks next year ............... What more do i need to say.

Each year we have been coming back to this same Chalet for 2 glorious weeks in Summer. The location high in the hills is perfect for exploring the surrounding mountain walks and a range of adventure sports. The scenery is absolutely amazing. A variety of local restaurants offer excellent local specialties and the village markets allow you to sample and choose your own local produce for home cooking. Geneva is a day trip away if you tire of the beautiful mountain vistas. There is something for both the adventurous and more relaxed holiday experience.

We have stayed at Snowball twice and love the place! The children enjoying playing in the garden outside and there is plenty of space inside. The ski lifts at La Linga or Pre Le Joux are an easy drive or bus journey away, whilst the centre of town is a pleasurable walk away. The chalet is spacious, well resourced and clean. The open fire is wonderful on a cold snowy night. We would thoroughly recomend the chalet and look forward to many more holidays there!
