Modern, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining on ground floor level. A twin room with own shower and toilet facilities is also situated on this floor - ideal for those who don't wish to use the stairs. Twin balcony from lounge and dining areas. Balcony has dining facilities for 6 people and a retractable sun canopy. Sun loungers are also available on this level. Stairs from the back door accessed from the kitchen lead to the roof terrace - perfect for sun bathing and dining.
Lower level comprises of large master bedroom and en-suite with bath and overhead shower, second twin room with own shower room. Both bedrooms have patios to garden. In addition there is a small storage room for games and golf equipment and suitcases.

The Algarve is one of the top holiday destinations in world. Known for it's all-year round excellent weather, stunning secluded, beaches and coves with high-cliff top backdrops, superb sporting facilties including golf, riding walking, windsurfing (particularly on the west coast), fishing and tennis, it's easy to see why so many low cost airlines are now making Faro and Lisbon popular routes.
Excellent traditional food and home grown wines and a gentile pace of life make a holiday on the Algarve so special and memorable. This is especially true in the old fishing villages where the catch is brought in daily and delivered straight to the beach side restaurants.
To the west a visit to Cape St Vincent and the fort at Sagres and the historic walls and castle of Silves is a must for the historian. For walkers a day trip to the Monchique mountains is worth a visit. To the East, the Guadiana River forming the border with Spain is another easily achieved day trip. As is the beautifully unspolit town of Travia with its stunning sand banks and warm waters - visitors have to catch a ferry to reach these secluded beaches from the town but they are very cheap and well worth the trip. Once on the islands there are plenty of bars and restaurants.
Motor Racing - the new Algarve Autodromo (Autodrom o Internacional do ALgarve) has now been completed and is located near Portimao at Pereira (4.5 kilometres north of the Algarve motorway - A22- with a direct road link via the motorway exit at Mexilhoeira Grande). This is situated about 30 minutues drive from the villa and promises to be one of the most modern and multi-functional race circuits in the world and offers on the site a wide range of sporting and commercial activities and leisure events.

| Carvoeiro Rocha Brava area |
Quinta Pequina is about 1.5 kms from Carvoeiro. The town has plenty of parking and taxis are readily available (and cheap) if required. There are an abundance of good shops, restaurants and bars in the town offering a variety of meals of all types to suit all pockets. Just adjacent to the lovely beach in the town centre is the town square which hosts local music evenings throughout the summer months. The square is surrounded by traditional sea food restaurants and cafes. Carvoeiro has a number of banks and cash machines. Please note that some restaurants in the town don't accept credit cards. A petrol station is situated just outside Carvoeiro in Lagoa - as is a big bus station. For those hiring cars, a petrol station is now located immediately adjacent to the airport. Most car hire companies insist on tanks being full of return of vehicle so this station is the most convenient.
Although there is a very well stocked supermarket (basics inc fresh bread and pastries) within five mins walk of the villa, we advise guests to visit the Intermarche supermarket (on the outskirts of town) as this is far bigger and much cheaper.
The villa has several excellent restaurants within walking distance - from a Pizzeria to a traditional portuguese fish restaurant, from an excellent Indian (which offers a take out service!) to an internet cafe; or choose from a superb restaurant in a garden setting with an international menu or a sophisticated beach cafe - Something for everyone! And all ages!
The two water parks, Slide and Splash (10 mins) and Aqualand (20 mins) are great fun for the whole family but try and get there early in the summer as they do tend to get very busy. Zoo Marine is a great trip - try and book a swim with the dolphins before you go. Go Karting is available at Amancil (30mins). There are plenty of horse riding facilities in the area and water sports and equipment can be found at the larger beaches. 6 tennis courts are within a five minute walk at the Rocha Brava complex and these can be booked on a pay and play basis. The club offers lessons and training camps throughout the holidays for all ages. Further tennis courts are available at the Carvoeiro Tennis Club. The Club has a pool, gym and small restaurant for guests to use. Again, tennis coaching can be booked.
Quinta Pequina is adjacent to the Vale de Milho golf course. Although a nine hole course this is a challenging course with reasonable green fees. The club house is a ten minute walk from the villa and serves good food. These include Vale da Pinta (Carvoeiro), Pestana and Gramacho (Carvoeiro) , Palmares (Lagos) , Alto (designed by Sir Henry Cotton in Alvor), Salgados (Albufeira) and Penina (Portimao) and the beautiful Pine Cliffs Golf Course at the Sheraton Algarve Hotel.

Fly to Faro - Quinta Pequina is 40 mins west on the quick A22, just outside Carvoeiro on the Club Golfemar complex. Alternatively take the scenic N125. Taxi services are readily available at the airport and in the town of Carvoeiro itself. Easyjet, BMI baby, Thompson, Ryan Air, Aer Lingus all fly regularly from a number of UK airports to Faro. Please let us advise you personally on your choice of car hire company.

Each room has its own remotely operated air conditioning/heating units.
Cleaning and maid services - All linens and towels are provided (not beach towels). The villa is serviced with a change of linens/towels once a week or as arranged with owner. Linen for cot is not provided although bed linen for the sofa bed is. A food welcome pack is also provided on your arrival if required.

Further details outdoors: The pool and sun decked areas may be accessed by steps or long gentle slopes (ideal for pushchairs or guests with restricted mobility). The large free form pool varies in depth and has steps leading into it. The children's pool is a continuous depth throughout - about knee level on an adult. The pool areas are in an elevated position with beautiful views. They are lawned and set among private landscaped gardens with mature trees, shrubs and flowers. Sun loungers are available for guests use as are the changing facilities, toilets and showers. There is plenty of parking immediately outside the villa and the pool is a minute's walk to the pool area! All public walkways and pool areas are lit at night. Please note - there is no swimming after 8pm due to chemical treatment of the pools.

The villa is totally non-smoking although smokers are welcome to smoke on the balconies and roof terrace. Sorry no pets allowed at any time. A booking deposit of £100 is required to secure dates for your holiday. This can be made via bank transfer or UK/Euro cheque. The balance is required six weeks before your rental period in addition to a £200/200 euro fully refundable breakage deposit - cheque/bank transer to us or cash payment to House Manager please. When balance has been cleared, full details of location, sets of keys, emergency and contact numbers etc will be sent out. The breakage deposit cheque/bank transfer will either be destroyed or returned to you after a satisfactory damage and inventory check by our House Manager on your departure.

The villa is available to in-coming guests from 3.00pm. Departure from the villa is by 10.00am. (However, this can be flexible through arrangement with the owner if there are no immediate in-coming guests).
Large party looking for additional accommodation? Our neighbours also rent out their properties (from one bed-roomed to three bed-roomed) so please ask for details and rates.
Changeover day is normally a Thursday in the summer months (July and August) but again, we can be flexible to suit flights if this fits in with existing bookings.
We have a House Manager who is available throughout your stay should you have any problems/queries. Her telephone number will be provided on receipt of rental balance. The villa has a comprehensive Villa Information folder which contains information about where to go and what to do in the area but also has emergency contact information too - inc doctors, dentists, taxi numbers etc. We can provide car hire details for you and suggest air-lines that fly to Faro, Lisbon and Seville. Although the villa has three bedrooms and sleeps 6 people comfortably we do have a put-up bed that is suitable for an additional child under 12 years. There is a charge of £75.00 per week for this additional person. Bank transfer and UK/Euro cheque accepted. Breakage deposits returned after inspection of property by House Manager. If anything does get broken or misplaced please inform the House Manager as soon as possible. Bookings are now being taken for 2011. A 10% discount is available to returning clients on prices above.
