The Southern Italy region

Calabria is the southern region in Italy, has long coastline, with sandy beaches or rocks. Inland has high wooden mountains with lakes and wildlife, most of the historical villages are on top of hills facing the sea, often surrounded by olives and wine groves. The Climate is hot in summer and mild most of the year on the coast, on the mountains in winter there are ski facilities.

Calabria Cropani Marina area

Cropani has a medieval historical center, in the surrounding area there are many archeological sights and interesting natural parks ideal for trekking or cycling.
Torre del Golfo is located nearby a natural protected area that goes from the River Crocchio to the coastline.
The most important religious event in Cropani is the "Naca" on Easter friday.
