Home description

The flat is on the marvellous SONY CENTER the only building entirely made of glass. It isn the 10th floor and it is 75 square meters. From the large windows that reach the floor you can admire the beautiful and famous Plotsdamer Platz. The furniture is modern, design stile. In the room there is a large and comfortable bed.
In the living room there is a comfortable sofa with a small table and in one corner there is a dinner table and chairs. In the apartment there is television, radio, and a fast wireless Internet connection. The kitchen has stove, oven, teapot, toaster, etc.
Equipped tile bathroom with a shower, bath, and free towel service. We also provide a free sheet service.
The apartments has a “category 4 superior” level of quality.
In the entrance there is a 24 hours reception.
The potsdamer Platz underground station is just 10 metres from the Sony Center.

The Berlin region

The apartment stays in TIERGARTEN, the borough take its name from the large green area of TIERGARTEN PARK that dominates the area and that is a link between MITTE and CHARLOTTENSBOURG.
Along the north side of the park you can admire the SPREA while in the south side you can see many important attractions.

POTSDAMER PLATZ is an important public square and traffic intersection in the centre of Berlin, lying about one kilometre south of the BANDERBURG GATE and the REICHSTAG (German Parliament Building), and close to the southeast corner of the TIERGARTEN PARK.

Brandenburg area

POTSDAMER PLATZ is also home to the PANORAMAPUNKT viewing platform, located 100 m above ground level, which is accessed by riding Europe's fastest elevator.
From the PANORAMAPUNKT one can see such landmarks as the Die Bahn headquarters, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Federal Chancellery, Bellevue Palace, Cathedral, Gendarmes Market, Holocaust Memorial and Commemoration Church.

Nearbythere is the KULTURFORUM stretching from the Berliner Philharmonie, a 1963 concert hall by architect Hans Scharoun and home of the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra to the Neue Nationalgalerie built by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1968

The Sony Center is a Sony-sponsored building complex located at the Potsdamer Platz designed by Helmut Jahn.
At almost any time of the day, the place is alive with people. It is a popular attraction for visitors, having a top shopping area. It is also popular with English speaking film fans, as it has more than 40 screens in three cinemas, including an English speaking cinema, a film academy and a film museum.

Sony Center is considered one of the best piece of modern art of Berlin

BUDGET AIRLINES(easy jet, ryan air etc) fly direct from UK, Spain, Italy etc.
All three airports (Schoenefeld, Tegel and Templehof) are very easily reached from the apartment.
The nearest tube station goes directly to Rudow for a direct bus link
to Schoenefeld Airport (SXF) and to Jakob Kaiser Platz for the bus
directly to Tegel Airport (TXL).
To Templehof Airport it is only 3 stops on the metro taking approx. 10 minutes. Detailed directions on request.
