Home description

The apartment has a balcony overlooking Mont Alben, a fully functioning kitchen and bathroom, double bedroom and a nice living room with sofa bed and a single bed in an alcove.
Ideal for the nature lover we are situated within the national park, close to a cross country ski loop and a small downhill with school. The village has a small supermarket and a couple of good restaurants.
There are a lot of nice walks in the area, and we are ideally situated if you want to travel round Northern Italy by car or train.

The Lombardy region

A mountinoue region, cold in winter but lovely and cool in the summer. Bergamo is a nice 15th century walled town, easy access to Milan and Venice and beyond. Famous for its cheese production.

Bergamo Alps / Sandrio zambla alta area

Zambla is a small village with 90 inhabitants, a supermarket and a couple of bars and restaurants. There is a bus service to Bergamo and Clusone every day. The zone is well known for the walking as there are several zones that were not glaciated so contain rare orchids.

The nearest airport is Bergamo, about 40 km away. There is a regular bus service but I also offer transport to the flat myself.Cheap flights from Ireland and UK with Ryanair and Jet2.com.

The apartment is at the bottom of a spiral staircase so unfortunately is not suitable for wheelchair users.
