This unique luxury 28 metre Eco yurt sleeps 2 adults plus children, we can add a single bed and cot and has its own shower room, covered out door kitchen and fenced and gated decked terrace. It has been tastefully styled with original hand picked hard wood Mongolian furniture.
This Yurt is from Mongolia where they live in this this form of house throughout the year, it is fitted with Marble flooring, luxury fabrics and furnishings and set on the eco estate of "Finca de Arrieta". The shower room has been designed with a walk in shower, bamboo & free standing marble sink. The outdoor fully fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar with a granite worktop & over looks the south facing decked patio. The patio area is private, protected from the wind & perfect for relaxing & sunbathing. There is a bbq and outdoor teak furniture and sun shade, great for al fresco dining.
Guests have full use of the of the solar heated 10 meter long pool and chill out area where you can relax and entertain alike. The pool area boasts sea/mountain views, mature gardens and Polynesian style day bed. You also have a large covered area where there is a second kitchen, further dining table, authentic Moroccan floor seating and toilet/shower room. This area is spacious and has hard wood floor a perfect place to relax, read a book or enjoy a meal. WiFi connection is available within the Eco Village.

| The Lanzarote region |
|
The Island of Lanzarote is located some 100 Kilometers off the North West African Coast. It is one of the seven Canary Islands. The Islands are part of Spain and therefore their official language is Spanish. The Island is perfect in size, large enough to offer the concerning visitor enough to visit and experience on their holiday yet small enough so that visitors do not to feel overwhelmed.
Lanzarote is well known for its year round sunshine, this makes the island non seasonal so the Island is up and running all year round. It’s dramatic “Volcanic Luna Landscape” which dominates the southern part of the island is a well worth a Visit during your stay. The visitor center at the National Park of Timanfaya explains the past volcanic activity and takes you by bus to show some of the most spectacular Volcanic scenes of dried molten and lava. You can even have a lunch, cooked on the best Lanzarote BBQ, a grill over the heat of the volcano.Though the island has no natural source water, the island’s earth is fertile and there are many local farmers who successfully grow produce such as Potatoes, Onions, Peas, pumpkin to name a few. There is a wonderful Sunday Farmers Market in Mancha Blanca near Tinajo which boasts vegetable produce, flowers, wine and cheese from the Island.

If you are looking for accommodation away from the tourist resorts then you will love Arrieta and the neighbouring village of Punta Mujeres. These are both fishing villages and have not been changed for many years and are un-spoilt by mass tourism. These represent a time capsule of Lanzarote where you will still witness first hand fishermen in their traditional wood fishing boats and farmers ploughing fields with their donkeys.
The quaint village of Arrieta has a number of shops, sea front restaurants and cafés. One of the original fish restaurants “Amanacer” offers a good value Canarian menu with the catch of the day. Arrieta has two beaches one in the village and the other in front of Finca de Arrieta where the Yurt is located. These are child friendly beaches and on the main sandy beach of La Garita has a well known surf break, a Beach Bar, Restaurant, Play Park and Toilet facilities. For any fishing equipment and general supplies the Petrol station/ Mini Market on the entrance to the village is open from 8am to 9pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
This area of Lanzarote is fantastic for walking/mountain biking There are some great tracks from the village of Maguez, this is a quiet part of the island and there is plenty to explore and discover. There are some business who specialise in trekking and they have many excursions on offer.Or maybe you just want to relax and read a good book next to the pool in peaceful surroundings. Other local activities include surfing, sailing, fishing, wind-surfing, tennis, cycling, horse riding, golf, walking, mountain biking, and swimming. We can help organise any of these during your stay!

The Eco Yurt is fitted with a large double bed (160cm) and its living area includes, seating, a stereo and floor lighting. As these yurts are used in Mongolia as full time living accommodation and are draft free, snug and extremely comfortable. Its interior temperature stays at comfortable level and being 28 meters it is very spacious. There are low consuming electric lights and plug sockets. If there are any extras you will require for your stay please let me know and it will be arranged for your arrival.

The yurt is placed at the prestigious 30,000 square meter estate of "Finca de Arrieta" and the area was originally farming land and has two natural wells on site, there are mature exotic gardens including fruit trees such as Mango, Banana, Guava, Lime etc. (a bonus if you are here at the right season!) There is also a variety of other organic garden produce such as potatoes, tomatoes and basil as well as free range eggs from the hens, all of which guests are welcome to help themselves to!
Today the estate runs on wind and solar power and is a unique example of sustainable living, there are 2 wind turbines and 30 solar panels and we ask guests to be aware of and consider their energy consumption during their stay!
The Finca is partly walled using stones from the land, it has a children’s play area which includes children’s play park, sand football pitch, trampoline and the resident donkey “Mollie”

We had a wonderful relaxing break staying in the yurt in March 2009. Michelle and Tila are fantastic hosts and made us feel really welcome, along with their lovely kids. The Finca is very chilled with some beautiful beaches very close by (definitely recommend a car). One of our highlights has to be lying in bed with the door open looking out to sea!

Real get away from it all place, especially off season. The yurt is cosy and contemporary with quirky outside spaces at their best in hot weather. Walking distance to good surf, great fish and wine in the authentic low key village of Arrieta. Staff couldnt be more helpful. A great escape!
