Originally a small dairy farm dating back to 1750 Le Reverier offers complete seclusion. A detached property situated in a peaceful hamlet with spectacular views over the Aosta Valley it has a small private orchard to the front of the house. On summer mornings if you leave the shutters open you’ll be woken by the sound of cowbells as the herd makes it’s way past the house to the higher pastures. The forest trail leading through the woods to the waterfall starts a few metres from the orchard. However the centre of Aosta, known as Rome of the north because of it’s historical heart, is only a 15 minute drive down the valley and the village centre with two restaurants /bars and shop with fresh bread is five minutes by car.

Summer activities in the area include horse riding, mountain biking, swimming in open air pools, adventure park tree climbing. In winter the ski station of Pila 2000 is a few minutes drive away and the international resorts of Courmayeur and Cervinia very accessible.

The ancient Roman city of Aosta, named after the emperor Ceasar Augustus, is the heart of valley. This is a beautiful little city of meandoring alleyways leading to secret squares, tiny chapels and tucked away shops and restaurants. Romantic villages are doted up and down the valley with festivals held throughout the year. The Sarre Music Festival being the most well known. The mountains surrounding Aosta are a mecca for skiers in winter who come for some of the highest altitude skiing in Europe offered by Cervinia, Courmayeur, Pila, La Thuile and many small local areas.
In the summer months the flower strewn Alpine meadows of the Grand Paradiso National Park are the perfect place to be for hikers and walkers.

Bed linen and towels are not included in the rental price but can be hired from the local key holder.
