Home description

This is an amazing contemporary 2 bedroom apartment that is brand new to holiday rentals. Every detail has been thought of for a luxury holiday. The Margarida apartments are brand new and are centrally located in the premier destination of Vale do Lobo.

Benefits from a fabulous sun terrace with sun loungers and outside dining table and chairs for dining alfresco and build in charcoal bbq. Lots of extras including: Air conditioning throughout, Plasma TV with satellite programs, internet access, DVD player and DVDs, iPod dock, radio, magazines and games.

Also available is access to Jardins do Golfe communal pools and tennis courts. Jardins do Golfe boasts two fantastic onsite pools and three tennis courts. The main pool is 22 metres long and 8.5 metres wide with easy steps into the pool and a deep end of 3 metres. Also a shallow sunny children's pool with waterfall and ample terrace space around the pool.

The Algarve region

The Algarve is located in southern county of Portugal and is geographically the most South Westerly tip of Europe. It boasts over 100 sunny beaches from the Reserva Natural da Ria Formosa Reserve which runs along the Eastern coast to the virtually uninhabited windswept beaches of the Parque Natural da Costa Vicentina on the Western coast. The Algarve is bordered by Spain and it is only a short drive to the cultural and ancient city of Seville in Spain and Portugal's capital, Lisbon.

Almancil area

Faro town is a 15 minute drive there is a large shopping centre that offers good facilities. Most tours offer a pickup/drop off bus service from VdL to the attractions. Options include horse riding, fishing, yachting/sailing, shark, dolphin watching, 4x4 safari tours & Cultural visits. In Almancil there is a karting track if you need to burn off that adrenalin..... There is also an Aqua Park 10 mins drive on the other side of Quateria) and a Swim With Dolphin experience and Theme Park (30 mins drive on the Motorway).

In the apartment is a well stocked folder with all the details of the attractions so you can read at leisure and book you choices. In Almancil (5 min drive) is a beautiful church with wonderful mosiacs that is open to the public. Quarteria (5 min drive) has a very impressive farmers market that is well worth visiting (oh and testing out the produce !!). Both of these attractions you can walk to usually in about an hour if you are feeling energetic......otherwise I have a folder with telephone numbers of local taxi services if you do not wish to drive.

Ryanair, BA, Easyjet and Monarch all run a good schedule of flights to Faro. I recommend a website www.skyscanner.net to see the best price for your flights, it is a very easy and compact site that loads up all airlines departing from your airport of choice with the times and most importantly the cost.

The apartments are prepared for your arrival, all your linen and towels are included. Additional maid service is available, please enquire.

Changeover days are flexible but during the summer months it is more likely to be on a weekday. It is necessary to vacant the villa by 10am on the day of departure in the high season.

Access to the apartment is after 3pm on day of arrival unless previous arrangements have been made.

Conditions

For low and mid season rentals securing deposit must be paid on time of booking this is 50% of the total booking cost.

For high and peak season rentals the deposit required is 25%.

All deposits are non refundable.

All rentals - the balance is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of €300 is payable before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days after departure if the property has been left in an appropriate condition.

The quoted rates includes maid service with change of sheets & towels after 7 nights & complimentary welcome basket including wine & food on arrival. The rental includes preparation of the villa also cleaning on departure and heating and/or air conditioning. All bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided.

Cancellation refunds:
Up to 8 weeks - loss of deposit
4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded
2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded
Less than 2 weeks - no refund

I just wanted to thank you for what was a truly wonderful holiday for my wife and myself.

The apartment was lovely, far more than what we imagined and loved the location especially waking up to look over the 12th hole on the royal course!

Your information pack was very thorough and your personal help when we required a hire car was perfect.

This was our first visit to Portugal and it has touched our hearts so much that the wife now wants to buy a property there!!!

Looking forward - we will definetely look to rent from you again hopefully sooner than expected and will certainly recommend you to friends and family.
