The villa is surrounded by a green mountainous landscape with lemon groves and gorges in the area, which makes it perfect for hiking.

Due to it’s location, the Aghia Pelagia based villa is a perfect starting point to discover the island of Crete. Aghia Pelagia is within Mixorrouma village (200m. walk) which has several small shops. The spectacular Kourtaliotiko gorge is at 5km distance of the villa, Preveli Beach and Monastery at 11km, and Plakias village with the surroundings beaches at 14 km. You can also visit the Kallikratis gorges (35km), the Amari Valley (23km) or the city of Rethymno (24km) with it’s historical centre.
